Choosing Flat Science

What it buys you, and what it costs you. Both matter — you are locking every scene in the video to this.

Advantages

Friendly enough for beginners without being childish
Flat shapes stay perfectly clear on a phone
The mascots give an abstract topic something to follow

Trade-offs

Simplification cuts nuance out of complex subjects
The blue backdrop repeats; variety has to come from your scenes

What every scene is told to look like

This line goes into the prompt for every single image in your video. It is why scene 3 and scene 27 look like the same production, and it is the whole job of a theme.

flat vector science-explainer look, deep blue cosmic backdrop with smooth two-tone gradients, geometric flat-shaded planets cells and rockets, tiny cute rounded mascot creatures with dot eyes, warm amber highlight against cool blue, orderly infographic layouts, calm curious framing
