Where to use this theme

Explainers that unpack how something works
News context — the why behind a story
Data-led pieces that need arrows, circles and labels

Think twice for

Face-led vlogs and talking-head content
Horror, thriller or anything that needs dread

Choosing Vox

What it buys you, and what it costs you. Both matter — you are locking every scene in the video to this.

Advantages

A visual language viewers already know how to read
One backdrop with changing foreground keeps a 15-minute video coherent
Leaves deliberate room for callouts and captions

Trade-offs

Illustration-first, so real camera footage sits awkwardly inside it
The warmth reads gentle when a story actually needs urgency

What every scene is told to look like

This line goes into the prompt for every single image in your video. It is why scene 3 and scene 27 look like the same production, and it is the whole job of a theme.

Vox-style explainer look, warm paper texture background, bold flat illustration, pan-and-zoom framing, editorial callouts, consistent single-scene backdrop with changing foreground subjects
